Spriegel makes Surrey debut

Loughborough's Matthew Spriegel made his County Championship debut for Surrey in the game which started on 30th May. Playing on his old school's ground at Whitgift against Somerset, Matthew made scores of 22 and 20 as Surrey were defeated by the West Country side. This appearance followed his selection for two Friend's Provident games earlier in the week.

He now returns to Loughborough for their BUSA clash with Durham tomorrow, before waiting to hear if he will be involved in Surrey's Twenty20 campaign.
